Michigan reports 1,586 new COVID-19 cases, 22 deaths Tuesday21/10/2020
Michigan has lost 22 more people to COVID-19 and 1,586 more people have tested positive for the coronavirus, according to Tuesday's update from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.
One of the 22 deaths was found later in a regular review to see if COVID-19 contributed to one's passing.
The state's totals are now 7,053 confirmed deaths and 149,392 confirmed cases.

Michigan has a fatality rate of 4.7% among known cases.
The state had a positivity rate of 4.84% Monday, reporting 2,454 out of 50,697 diagnostic test results returned were positive.
The state has reported 330 probable COVID-19 deaths and 16,602 probable cases.
The probable cases combined with the confirmed cases make for a cumulative total of 7,383 deaths and 165,994 cases.
